The Perfect Spring Saturday Itinerary
Picture this: You wake up to no alarm on a sunny Saturday morning in spring where the temperature is pleasantly mild. You have no plans or obligations. You’re free to enjoy the blooming nature however you please.
But how can you make the most of your day in a way that romanticizes the season?
If you are looking for ways to celebrate the season, here is my itinerary for the perfect spring Saturday:
Peruse Your Local Farmer’s Market
Visiting a farmer’s market is a highlight of my weekend every time I go.
I love the atmosphere of the community coming together to shop local artisans and produce, watch the children dance to the folk music played by the band of retirees, and the ability to enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
You can even go just for people-watching and avoid spending any money.
Treasure Hunt At Thrift Stores
Thrift shop hopping has become my primary hobby as an adult.
Buying second-hand is good for the environment, keeps your belongings original rather than chasing trends, and gets you access to cute, quirky accents that make you excited about your home and closet.
You never know if your visit to a second-hand store will result in treasures or dust, but the journey of looking around, preferably while wearing an outfit you feel confident in, is the most fun part.
Take a Refreshing Springtime Stroll
There is nothing like spending a warm spring day in the sunshine, enjoying the outdoors by taking a long walk through your scenery of choice.
A springtime stroll is lovely in your neighborhood, but you could always change your environment by taking your walk to the beach, downtown, or outside in nature.
While this can be a great time to habit stack by listening to good music, an audiobook, or a podcast, a long walk can be a great time to disconnect and instead meditate, repeat affirmations, manifest, brainstorm, reflect, or socialize with your walking partner.
Springtime can be one of the best times of the year, especially when you romanticize your weekend days by shopping for seasonal produce at your local farmer’s market, hunting for second-hand treasures at thrift shops, and winding down with a long walk outside.
